One of my biggest source of influences and references is deviantART. I think that for most designers, photographers and illustrators this is one of their top sites for reference.

Although we can easily add images to ou favorites, visit and join groups and make detailed searches, sometimes the mass download and select after is the best solution. There enters deviantArt Gallery Ripper.

 

This software makes it possible to download all the images in the gallery, favorites, and scraps of any user or group.

In the version I tested, in 0.1.2, the downloaded files are organized by username and then by gallery, favorites or scraps but does not create sub folders. Interestingly when we download from group images it creates subfolders in the galleries. Perhaps in a future version the same happens with users.

Now we can easily download to our computer the work of authors like or that serve as reference, it is worth remembering that the copyright license should always be respected.
